ITS provides the University of Connecticut with Hi-Tech Classrooms to deliver a better teaching environment for both students and instructors. Support services include design, installation and maintenance of hi-tech equipment, programming of control systems and touch screen interfaces, imaging, and maintenance of classroom computers and training of faculty and staff on the proper use of AV equipment in the classrooms. Staff work closely with Facilities Operations, Architects, AV design consultants, AV installers and AV equipment vendors to insure all classrooms live up to University standards.
