ITS provides approved customers a virtual machine (VM) with customized storage, RAM, processors, and administration rights. Some key features of the service include:
  • The ability to run Virtualized Microsoft Windows and Linux (usually Red Hat) servers
  • An alternative to purchasing the physical hardware for servers
  • Users can gain console access by accessing vCenter through an authorized Citrix account
